Thing 2: It is DONE and I'm Through!

I know if I don't set a time to do this each day, I will not get it done. Any ideas out there -- as to etiquette and maintenance of these things? In our busy day, I can't seem to get to it...looking for some helpful hints for timing, completion, and keeping up with this wonderful tool.

For me, it has been all about changing my routine! I do like using iGoogle (google reader) instead of bloglines to comment on other people's blogs, because then it is there whenever I go to google (which is often.)

As for posting on my own blog, it has to replace something. For many, it is their reflection on the day. For others, like myself, I see it as an ability to communicate with a select group of people who see read my blog! It replaces email for my social circle (that might be an unique way to look at blogging!)

Since I'm having so much fun with the new tools - my blogs, and Google Reader especially - I use it as a "treat" for when I've gotten something else done. (Right now, my Christmas decorations are finally up and my last load of laundry is in the washer.) I tried blogging one day at school, since it fits within the scope of our professional responsibilities, but it was nigh impossible to get more than a sentence or two written in the craziness of my daily routine!

Yes- it's tough to find time. It's so fun to find new technology that really works. I just try to set up time weekly to "play" with my metronet stuff.
